We’re Jannet and Steve Wright, and we’ve lived in Cancun since 2004. Alongside the Boobs Cruise, we own and operate Cancuncare.com and the Cancuncare Forum. We also founded and continue to run the Temptation Cancun Fans Community, the largest Temptation Facebook group, with more than 64,000 members.
Our story
Jannet is from Acapulco, Mexico, and Steve is from Nottingham, England. We met while Steve was on vacation in Cancun in 1997. Jannet later moved to the UK, where we married in 2000.
We started Cancuncare in 2002. As the site grew, we sold our house, left our jobs and moved to Cancun in September 2004 to work on it full time.
Through the forum, we became friends with many people who visited Temptation, then called Blue Bay Getaway, and often met up with them during their vacations.
The first Boobs Cruise
In 2006, a group of us decided to rent a boat for the day. We arranged everything through local contacts and had a fantastic time, with plenty of drinks, plenty of laughs and many of the women going topless. Someone joked, “This isn’t a booze cruise. It’s a boobs cruise!” The name stuck.
Afterward, guests shared their stories on the forum and other members asked to join a similar trip during their vacations. The cruises became increasingly popular, and in 2008 we established the organized format that continues today with a professional Cancun catamaran partner.
The Boobs Cruise today
The boats, service and organization have evolved enormously since those early trips, but the original idea remains: a fun day in the Caribbean with open-minded adults, great staff, plenty of drinks and plenty of laughs.
For more than ten years, we attended almost every cruise, usually twice a week, with Steve joining virtually every trip and Jannet joining most of them. Steve has now completed well over 1,000 cruises. These days, we still come along occasionally.
